A&M Financial Industry Advisory Services (FIAS) revolves around three core areas of expertise; Performance Improvement, Bank Restructuring and Regulatory Advisory. A&M's dedicated Financial Institutions professionals work on some of the world's most high profile cases in a rapidly transforming financial institution landscape, striving for game-changing solutions that provide impactful long-term change.
Our global team is comprised of seasoned bank executives from diverse and broad backgrounds, former senior financial institution regulators and highly skilled consultants.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to use your investment banking and/or consultancy experience to become involved in a 'hands on' team. As a valued member of the FIAS London team, you will work on a variety of projects, leveraging your financial services industry knowledge and your experience of financial modelling to support the senior team members in managing transformation programs, implementing growth strategies, cost reduction initiatives, winding down non-core assets and above all else creating value for our clients.
You will contribute to work streams on large programs and smaller projects, leveraging your financial services knowhow and skill set in analysing the status quo and developing sound solutions either from an external point of view or in collaborative settings with your client organization.
As part of the FIAS Team, you will be working closely with Senior Directors and Managing Directors. You will benefit from constant exposure to the senior members of the team and gain 'on the job' learning and development, leveraging their substantial experience.
In joining a growing business, you will also have the opportunity be involved in business development activities, where the team discuss new opportunities and the development of innovative offerings for our market. You will be actively involved in these discussions and feel an integrated part of the wider FIAS team.
Advise on stressed/distressed non performing leveraged loans and other credit portfolios
Facilitate credit workouts including design and delivery of restructuring strategies
Negotiate with borrowers to maximize recovery and take interim roles if needed
Perform operational review, identify opportunities for cost optimisation and provide implementation support
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience within a Credit or Leveraged Finance business within investment banking/capital markets
Extensive experience of credit workout processes
Experience of working with stressed/distressed non performing leveraged loans and other credit portfolios
Excellent capital markets product knowledge
Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
Experience of the design and delivery of operating models desirable
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting, business, or a similar discipline
Be action oriented self-starters with entrepreneurial flair
Be comfortable working independently as well as in a high performing team
In addition to English a European language is highly desirable
Happy to travel
