Providenceis calling a Food Services Worker to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
This is a 0.6 FTE (24 hours a week) with the following shifts: Fridays 11:45 AM - 8:00 PM; Saturday and Sundays 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM; and Mondays 11:45 AM - 8:00 PM.
We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to perform routine and specialized assignments in the hospital's kitchen, cafeteria, patient tray line, or special event catering.
In this position you will:
Prepare, serve, or deliver food for patients, staff, and guests in the cafeteria and community outpatient services.
Adhere to all sanitary regulations governing the handling, storage preparation and serving of food.
Assist in dish room (washing dishes, pots, pans, and cleaning area and restocking).
Take inventory, orders, and stocks shelves.
Requiredqualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or GED.
Current Food Handlers Card in Washington State, or within 14 days of hire.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Preferredqualifications for this position include:
Minimum of six months institutional food service experience.
Customer service experience.
Previous working knowledge of special diets.
