Join us and start doing your life's best work.The Regulatory Adherence Analyst will monitor changes to laws andregulations to ensure compliance with State and Federal laws, regulations andmandates. This individual will establish and implement standard policies,procedures, processes and best practices to promote adherence with applicablelaws and contractual obligations. This Analyst will conduct reviews ofelectronic insurance advertising and offer suggestions to product presentationsand insurance application processes to mitigate risks and achieve compliancewith applicable laws and regulations. The analyst will also support thecollection of data for regulatory filings, coordinate and develop reports,projects, and assessment tools. They will work directly with theSales/Marketing departments and outside electronic insurance agencies todevelop communications and drive problem resolution for a business. This willbe accomplished through written and verbal communications. A strong projectmanagement back ground is helpful.This role supports the sales/marketing departments with implementation ofproduct presentations on multiple independent product sales/marketing Internetsites. It also supports the marketing department with consumer advertising andbroker training.Primary Responsibilities:Analyze impact of product and/or product updates to prepare test plans for team and external audience useDevelopcompliance communications, processes, procedures and best practicesReviewand edit advertising to help ensure adherence with applicable laws andregulations as well as accurate product presentationCommunicate compliance edits to internal and external customersProvide assistance to legal staff by gathering information, researching the law and preparing options to present to attorney for guidance Audit work of othersSuggest adjustments to advertising language to minimize riskSupportthe collection of data for regulatory filings, coordinate and develop reports,projects and assessment tools to verify compliancePartners closely with Regulatory Affairs, Compliance and Legal Staff to identify risks and implement remediation where required for specific function or line of businessEnsureconsistent process implementation related to laws and regulationsPrepare and route advertising for additional approvals, filing in applicable states and legal recordsAssistwith the coordination of department activities
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or higher2+ years of Health Insurance Industry experienceExperience developing Microsoft Word, and Excel documentsDemonstrated understanding of insurance terminology and processesGeneral understanding of Internet terminology and technology2+ years of experience working in a government or health insurance environment with experience in compliancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft SharePoint developmentParalegal degree or equivalentKnowledge of applicable insurance plans including but not limited to Short term, Life, AD&D, Fixed Indemnity, fully insured and self-funded productsSoft Skills: Experience managing several project at a timeAbility to make sound business decisions in the absence of detailed instructionsCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
