Kubick Aviation Services, Inc. was founded by Chad Kubick in 2004. The company, located in Kingsford, Michigan, started out in aircraft maintenance. It later expanded to provide fuel services. In April, 2014 Kubick bought the assets to Superior Aviation and moved their operations into the Superior Aviation hangar. This move offered a prime location on the runway and the addition of avionics servic...es. After acquiring Superior Aviation's assets, Chad began the process of becoming qualified by the FAA to conduct on demand air charter services. It had taken a full year, however UP North Airways, a division of Kubick Aviation, now operates under it's air carrier certification with four different aircraft. When asked why he started Kubick Aviation Services, Inc., Chad responded that he has always had a love for aviation.
