Start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: As a member of the Clinical Operations leadership team the Manager, Clinical Operations has direct responsibility for guiding employee performance to achieve optimal functioning in day-to-day operations. They will work collaboratively with the leadership team to achieve department and strategic goals. They are also responsible for leading in partnership with others to achieve superior quality; attracting, developing, and retaining a talented and engaged team; achieving growth; and delivering on contractual commitments through the following: In combination with the Director of Clinical Operations, effectively communicate and contribute to strategic and operational plans, translating these plans, and ensuring the understanding, alignment and commitment of their teamUse established processes to ensure accountability for effective operations and resource managementProvide leadership to staff that offers job satisfaction, performance recognition, and stimulates innovative thinkingParticipate in financial forecasting and planning along with other members of the leadership teamEstablish clear performance standards and ensure that cost effectiveness and continuous quality improvement forms the basis for all activitiesLead the oversight of selection, hiring, training, development and performance management for the Clinical Operations teamFormulate recommendations for continuous improvement, taking into account market demands, regulatory and contractual standards, and changes in clinical practice
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management, Nursing or other related field, or equivalent work experience1+ years' experience leading healthcare teamsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain long - term relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersAbility to influence and negotiate through use of verbal, written, and interpersonal means with a diverse group of people / disciplines at all levels of an organizationMust be able to problem solve, propose, and implement solutions Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing Knowledge of analyzing and reporting statistical data Change management leadershipKnowledge and understanding of military protocolNational Career Readiness Certificate Careers with UnitedHealth Group.
