Premier AV Systems Integrator/Sound Contractor servicing Upstate NY is looking for a Project Manager-Field Engineer to work on their Performance Audio/AV Systems Integration and Installation Team. Qualified individuals would have the following experience;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing complex audiovisual installation projects with specific experience in performance audio/commercial sound systems
Education: Degree in Audio, Acoustics or Recording Arts, Electronics or related discipline desired
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is desired:
High level knowledge of reading and interpreting electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
Possesses advanced understanding of reading AV flow diagrams and cable schedules
Possesses a well-developed knowledge in IP/Computer networking and proficiency in the use of personal computers including application software such programs as MS Office with a solid understanding of computer networking, configuration, IP addresses, wireless networks, loading, testing and configuring software
Possesses ability to diagnose complex system problems.
Proficient in mechanical fabrication and equipment rack wiring with ability to train AV Technicians is preferred
Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of field installation of control programs (Extron/Crestron/AMX) - changes and troubleshooting would be a plus
Specific Experience as Performance Audio Technician or Project Manager i.e. Installing, Commissioning and Training on:
Digital Mixing Audio Consoles – Yamaha, Midas, Soundcraft
Front of House Audio Systems
Delay Audio Systems
Production Intercom Systems
Digital Signal Processing Configuration
Bonus with the following:
Video Presentation Systems
Touch Panel Control Systems
Must be able and willing to travel overnight at times and work at various job sites around Central and Upstate New York
InfoComm and other Industry or Manufacturer Certifications are strongly desired
