Red River delivers innovative IT solutions to critical challenges facing the U.S. government and other customers. In support of this mission, Red River is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented individual to assist in the management and administration of our service-oriented contracts and subcontracts. This individual will likely report directly to the company’s General Counsel in the company’s Reston, Virginia office, with occasional travel (approximately 20% of time) to customer locations or the company’s offices in New Hampshire, Texas and California, as well as attendance at various training and conferences.
Collaborate with other company business units to support the compliant and successful execution of government and commercial services contracts.
Administer service contracts in accordance with government regulations and company policies and procedures; negotiate customer changes and modifications to such contracts.
Negotiate and administer services subcontracts in accordance with government regulations and company policies and procedures, including subcontracts with small businesses.
Prepare correspondence to and interface directly with customer points of contact.
Advise program teams and management regarding contractual rights and obligations.
Assist with administration of small and disadvantaged business subcontracting plan.
Bachelor’s degree with approximately ten years of experience working with the federal acquisition process, including negotiation and administration of prime contracts and subcontracts
Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other agency acquisition regulations and terms and conditions
Experience with contracts and subcontracts for services
Strong interpersonal skills, persistence and superior attention to details
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Strong written and oral communications skills
