Job Description Customized Portfolio Servicing (a division of CMS) is seeking a Commercial Mortgage Credit Analyst 2 for the team located in Charlotte, NC.
The Customized Portfolio Servicing (CPS) specializes in loan administration and asset management for third party conduit and balance sheet lenders (i.e. mortgage REITs, debt funds and other bridge lenders) for performing loans on transitional or stabilized properties, nonperforming loans, mezzanine and preferred equity investments.
The Commercial Mortgage Analyst 2 will assist/support CPS Asset Managers with managing an assigned portfolio of loans focusing primarily on the following. In general, the loans will be transitional in nature, therefore enhanced asset management, surveillance and reporting will be required.
Proactively monitoring and reporting loan performance, identifying problem loans, deriving solutions and providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external clients
Providing timely feedback (both oral and written) to a variety of constituents, including team members, borrowers, lenders, etc. based on routine and ad-hoc requests
Spreading, analyzing and reporting of financial statements
Lockbox/Cash Management analysis and reconciliation
Loan Status Reporting and
Conduct Portfolio Review Meetings with lenders

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements . Required Qualifications
3+ years of commercial mortgage credit analysis experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Solid problem solving and decision making skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong technical writing skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years commercial real estate or commercial credit/loan experience
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized and able to multitask
Experience with Strategy, Full Circle, Report Gen, FileNet, CATS
Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment
Experience in commercial documentation & review.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge and interpretation experience with CRE loan documents
