In this Solutions Architect role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise architecture and standards. You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and the components required to support it as well as the integration of business and technical architectures and applications. Primary responsibilities will include: Collaborate with the business to understand/influence business requirements Demonstrate understanding of cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impact Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions Ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals/objectives Identify and quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems Facilitate/lead/participate in identification of solution options and features Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews) Incorporate software and system architecture (e.g. infrastructure, network) into conceptual designs Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans) Identify gaps between established standards and proposed solutions, and follow the exception/waiver process as needed Maintain awareness of current technology assets and the capability of each Understand and adhere to architecture Governance framework Documenting architectural artifacts, process flows and diagrams (and maintain version control)Deliver all project deliverables on scope, on time and on budget Adhere to applicable enterprise development methodologies and processes (e.g., UDP, OSAM, ADR, EPMO processes) Anticipate future business models / needs and ensures inclusion in business requirements Ensure that non - functional business requirements are clearly defined (e.g., SLAs, performance requirements, performance guarantees) Perform and participate in all required design reviews/demos (e.g., peer reviews, business / partner reviews) Partner with solution and technical architects to ensure that the team is building appropriate solutions that align with strategic goalsProvide innovative solutions for the UnitedHealthcare Consumer domain
8 + years of experience in IT Solution Delivery and architectureDemonstrated ability using the intent of requirements to infer and solution 8 + years of full-lifecycle application development experience Deep understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration 5 + years of experience building Consumer engagement applications Track record of delivering solutions architecture artifacts related to different methodologies Demonstrated success delivering on time Expertise with virtual communication and facilitation Continuous learner with an open-mind Proven influencing and collaboration skills Undergraduate degree or equivalent experiences Agile development experience preferred Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
